You’ll have to pay an early termination fee (ETF) of $150 or $295 (depending on your term length) if you cancel before the contract ends.

The Power Savings 2,000 kWh 12 and 24 plans are fixed for one or two years and offer a $150 bill credit when you use more than 2,000 kWh per month. As with other Reliant Energy electric plans, you’ll pay an ETF of $150 or $295 if you cancel early.
