Plans offered by Reliant Energy

Reliant Energy offers a variety of plan types you can sign up for on our marketplace. Here’s a quick overview of the company’s best fixed-rate plans. Enter your ZIP code to browse options and discover which plans are available in your area.

Reliant Power Savings 12 or 24: A classic fixed-rate plan

Reliant’s Power Savings plan offers fixed-rate terms of either 12 or 24 months. As long as your usage is 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) or more each month, you’ll receive a $50 monthly bill credit. You’ll have to pay an early termination fee (ETF) of $150 or $295 if you cancel before the contract ends.

Reliant Power Savings 2,000 kWh 12 or 24: Best for high usage customers

Reliant offers excellent options for customers who tend to use large amounts of energy. The Power Savings 2,000 kWh 12 and 24 plans are fixed for one or two years and offer bill credits when you use more than 2,000 kWh per month.

Reliant Basic Power 12 or 24: Stable fixed rates for medium-sized homes

Reliant’s Basic Power plan is another good choice for medium-usage customers. The plan is available for one or two years, and it waives your base charge if you use over 1,000 kWh per month.
