Types of plans offered by Constellation Energy

12-Month Flat Tier Product

This energy plan charges customers a flat rate depending on how much electricity they consume each month. For example, if you use 1000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) in a month, you will be charged 15 cents per kWh. But if you use less than 500 kWh, that rate is 30 cents per kWh. If you sign up  for this plan, it’s important to monitor your energy usage so you know what to expect on your electricity bill. This plan charges an early termination fee of $50 if you end your service before your contract expires.

36-Month Usage Bill Credit

The Usage Bill Credit plan is a fixed-rate energy plan that allows customers to lock in their energy rate for three years. This plan offers a $35 bill credit for usage above 1000 kWh, and an additional $15 credit for usage above 2000 kWh. There is a $99 early termination fee if you cancel your service before the end of your contract.

12-Month (No Min Usage Fee)

The 12-Month (No Min Usage Fee) plan is a fixed-rate energy plan that allows customers to secure an energy rate for one year. This plan doesn’t require a minimum usage fee, also known as a base charge. As a result, this plan could be a good option for people that only use a small amount of energy each month. This plan charges a $50 early termination fee if you end your service before your contract is up.

12-Month Usage Bill Credit + A/C Protection for 2 Units and HVAC Diagnostics

This plan lets customers to lock in their energy rate for 12 months and includes coverage for two air conditioning units, as well as diagnostics for HVAC equipment. It offers a bill credit of $35 bill credit for usage above 1000 kWh, and an additional $15 credit for usage above 2000 kWh. This plan charges an early termination fee of $50 if you end your service before the end of your contract.
