Oncor Electric Delivery charges

Utility companies charge a fee to deliver electricity to homes and businesses. This fee is included on your monthly energy bill as a Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU) or Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) charge. Utility delivery fees are typically divided into two charges: a base monthly charge and a charge per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of energy consumed. The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) regulates TDU charges to ensure fair pricing. Delivery fees are updated twice annually on March 1 and September 1.

Here are Oncor’s current TDU charges:

  • Monthly base charge: $4.23
  • Usage charge: 5.6183¢/kWh
