You have two options to start: quick match or deep dive. Both options provide you with three energy plans based on your answers. Each plan comes with a match score to give you an idea of how well it fits your profile. Quick match is the fastest route and only has two questions. Deep dive spends a little more time gathering details about your home to give you the most accurate match.

Bottom line: If you just want to save time, choose quick match. If you understand more about your energy usage, choose deep dive.

Quick match is a fast way to get strong results. Simply provide your address and top priorities and we’ll do the rest. This option focuses on what’s most valuable to you, such as:

The deep dive route

Sharing more information about your home will get you the best results. The deep dive route is designed to better understand your home’s usage patterns and help you find your ideal match. We’ll ask more in-depth questions than the quick route, such as:

• Are you moving to Texas from another state?
• How many people live in your home?
• How many days a week does your home use minimum energy?
• How long would you like your plan’s term to be?

We’ll also ask about your home’s features, such as whether you have central heating and cooling, an EV charger, or solar panels. The reason we ask for these details is because they can greatly impact your energy usage and influence your results. Choose deep dive for a comprehensive analysis of your home and a more accurate match.

Regardless of which option you choose, quick match or deep dive, you’ll receive three energy plans that match your profile. Each plan comes with an AI-generated description detailing its core features and pricing structure, along with an explanation of why it matches your energy profile. Our tool also projects your annual energy costs, broken down by month, to show seasonal fluctuations.

Your plan recommendations contain a match score that ranks their compatibility. This match score is calculated out of 100 based on a few factors:

• Total cost is the biggest factor our tool considers when picking your plans. It estimates your monthly power bill based on the information you shared in the quiz to find affordable energy solutions for your home.
• Predictable energy bills provide peace of mind, which is why our tool scores plans based on how stable your projected bills would be.
• Provider reputation and reviews also factor into our match score, ensuring you enjoy high-quality customer service.

How we use your information
