Effective July 1, 2025, TXU Energy increased the monthly bill credits for new customers enrolling in the Smart Edge and Smart Deal plans. The bill credit offers stable savings for customers who meet specific energy usage thresholds.
The changes include a $20 increase from the previous $30 bill credit, providing new customers who meet the usage criteria with an additional $240 worth of annual savings.
TXU’s increased bill credits apply exclusively to new customers enrolling in the Smart Edge and Smart Deal plans on or after July 1, 2025. Existing Smart Deal and Smart Edge customers will continue to receive the previously available $30 bill credits according to their current plan terms.
The Electricity Facts Labels (EFLs) for TXU Energy’s Smart Edge and Smart Deal plans include additional details about the new $50 monthly bill credits, as well as important information on pricing, usage requirements, and terms.
