OhmSaver 12, 24, or 36

OhmSaver comes with a fixed-rate contract for 12, 24, or 36 months. The fixed, or non-variable, rate per kWh is typically lower with longer contracts. Therefore, picking the 36-month plan could secure a lower price per kWh for a few years. The 12-month plan has an early termination fee (ETF) of $150, while 24 and 36-month plans have$250 in ETFs. Each of these plans includes 25.5% of renewable energy content

OhmSaver Green 24

If sustainable energy is important to you, this plan offers 100% renewable energy at a fixed rate for 24 months. This plan is not for customers with solar panels or those looking for a solar buyback plan. It has a $250 ETF.

PoolConnect 12 or 24

Pools can add up to $50 to your monthly electricity bill.  If you have a pool and are looking to save, this fixed-rate plan can help you cut your energy costs. With this plan, you can run your pool’s pump at a lower electricity rate between 6 a.m. and 1:59 p.m. Choose between a 12-month or 24-month contract, with ETFs at $150 and $250, respectively.

EVConnect 12 or 24

This fixed-rate plan allows you to use 100% renewable energy with half-price charging between 9 p.m. and 4:59 a.m. to  significantly lower the charging cost of your electric vehicle (EV). An ETF of $150 and $250 will apply to 12 and 24-month plans.   

OhmConnect’s green energy plans

In Texas, energy suppliers like OhmConnect are mandated to include a portion of green energy in their plans. All OhmConnect plans will incorporate some renewable energy. While most plans include a minimum of 25% green energy, you also have an option to select a plan with 100% renewable energy. How do I get OhmConnect rewards?

Rewards: OhmConnect rewards are known as Watts. You will receive an email or text message from OhmConnect informing you about an upcoming period of high energy demand, called OhmHours. You can earn credits from OhmConnect toward your future bill when you cut your energy use for at least one hour during peak demand times. In addition, OhmConnect offers various rewards such as cash payouts, chances to win prizes, and access to smart home technology.

Referral program: You can receive a referral bonus of $25 or $50 if you refer others to OhmConnect and have them sign up for a plan or service. The bonus amount will depend on the number of referrals you generate. Even if you don’t live in OhmConnect’s service area, you can still participate in the referral program by helping Texas, California, and New York residents sign up for OhmConnect.

Energy savings app: Customers who use OhmConnect’s energy savings app can connect their smart devices (like smart plugs and thermostats) and receive alerts during peak energy demand hours.
